On Valentine's Day, 2008, Phantoms drummer, Kevin Dougherty, retired from the band and moved to Florida. Kevin co-formed The Phantoms with Doug and Steve in 2005. He was always truly dedicated to the success of the band and was the hardest working man we know, always arriving at the gigs early to make sure the stage and PA system was set up. We miss him and wish him the best of luck in his new venture as a radion DJ at The Blizzard.
The Phantoms didn't stay drummer-less for long, however; Longtime friend of The Phantoms and sit-in replacement for Kevin was Wally Cwynar. We are so psyched to have him onboard; his style is different than Kevin's, and we are sure that we will benefit from his talent. Welcome aboard, dude!
